Even before you turn 65 it’s a good idea to start considering which Medicare plan you’ll sign up for. In Arizona you have many options. Generally the first step to understanding Medicare is understanding Original Medicare. Here’s what’s covered by Original Medicare:

Part A coverage for Bullhead City and Kingman

Medicare Part A covers inpatient hospital care, nursing facility care, nursing home care or longterm care, hospice care and home health care. Medicare Part A is included in a Medicare Advantage plan but it may specify where or from whom you can receive care.

Part B coverage for Bullhead City and Kingman

Medicare Part B covers preventive and medically necessary services like medical equipment, ambulance services and mental health.

Original Medicare does not include prescription drug coverage or services like dental, hearing and vision. You’ll need to choose a supplemental plan to cover these costs.

To find out if Medicare covers what you need, talk to your doctor and talk to a licensed professional.
